Robert Harvie

Robert Harvie is a highly respected lawyer, mediator, and arbitrator with over 37 years of experience in the legal field. He received his law degree from the University of British Columbia in 1985 and subsequently returned to his hometown of Lethbridge to begin practicing law. Robert has gained extensive training and qualifications as a mediator and arbitrator, holding a Q.Arb designation with the ADR Institute of Canada and Alberta, as well as training as a Collaborative Lawyer. He has attended various collaborative conferences and has also taught sessional courses in Business Law at the University of Lethbridge. Currently, Robert's practice focuses on Family and Divorce Law, where he has garnered significant expertise and experience.

In addition to his legal practice, Robert is an accomplished legal writer, having contributed numerous articles to LawNow Magazine and served as Editorial Board Chair and contributor for Law Matters - a publication of the Canadian Bar Association for the province of Alberta. He has also appeared in trial and appellate courts throughout Alberta, resulting in many reported decisions on issues related to family property, divorce, and constitutional law. Robert's extensive legal knowledge and experience make him a highly sought-after legal practitioner in Lethbridge and beyond.
